How It Works

The Basics

You'll be shown a 1-2 second New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL) video clip. Your task is to identify the meaning of the sign from multiple-choice options. Every streak also provides you two free skips, but as soon as you get anything wrong, your streak restarts.

Growing Your Streak

As your streak grows, the pool of possible signs increases. Signs are chosen from this ever-expanding pool based on your performance, ensuring you're constantly challenged. You'll also encounter the same signs multiple times to reinforce your learning through repetition, but the counter only increments for words you've not already answered correctly during the streak.
